No matter which cooler you own, there’s nothing more handy than having your own ice saver. Yeti’s reusable ice blocks come in one, two and four-pound sizes. Like the brand’s other outdoor gear, Yeti Ice is designed to withstand rough handling. Pop it in the cooler with a bag of ice to extend the chill and eliminate premature melting. Treat yourself to something different with these limited-edition new Yeti colors, too.
Looking for an ice scoop that actually holds up? The Yeti ice scoop is our go-to. Made from 316 dishwasher-safe stainless steel, this heavy-duty scoop wrangles and breaks up unruly ice. Sick of watered-down drinks? Perforated holes prevent water from sneaking into your glass. “This ice scoop has some serious weight to it,” says Shopping Editor Mary Henn, who tested it. “The handle is a continuous loop, so you can wrap it around your fingers and easily break ice. The perforated holes are genius. I don’t know why every ice scoop isn’t designed this way.”
Keep your cooler locked down with this security cable lock and bracket set. Besides preventing cooler theft, the six-foot-long cable lock is nearly as crack-resistant as the Ultraloq. It also works like a charm to keep the cooler tied down during raging storms or bumpy roads. “This lock is super easy to use and requires no fumbling with codes,” Mary says. “It doesn’t lock the lid shut but will secure your cooler to just about anything. You can make it however loose or tight you want, and there’s plenty of slack. Plus, the cable feels very sturdy. If you’re a truck owner who frequently fishes, tailgates or hunts, this cable is a must-have.”
Use your cooler as a casting platform? The SeaDeck hard cooler traction pad offers a slip-free place to stand and a cushiony seat. Made from foam for comfort, it slips right onto your Tundra. Or, pop the Yeti dog bowl on top for a slip-free meal pad for Fido. This is one of the comfiest Yeti cooler accessories.
This cooler divider nestles into the Tundra and keeps sides separate for easy organizing. Choose from an assortment of heights, all of which slide right into the middle separator groove of the cooler. Even better, they double as cutting boards. Making meals with the Yeti cast iron skillet is easier than ever! Pick up the Roadie version here.
One of our favorite boat organization hacks is freeing up room by turning the Tundra into a seat. The Tundra hard cooler seat attaches to the top of the cooler using a set of steel snaps. With two inches of foam, it’s easy to forget that your cooler isn’t really a chair!
“I was initially afraid this top cushion would be a bulky eye-sore on top of the cooler, but it isn’t at all. It blends right into the Tundra lid,” Mary says. “The cushion has a faux-leather cover and foam fill. It’s firm and supportive, and the difference between sitting on the Tundra—which can serve as a sturdy bench—with and without the cushion is night and day.”
Those afraid of crushing soft foods like fruit and cheese should invest in a few of these Tundra cooler baskets. This organizing problem-solver is shallow enough to fit over a bed of ice, keeping the contents cool and crush-free. “I love using the Tundra baskets to keep bread, sandwiches and other foods from getting soggy,” Mary says. “The basket(s) fit snuggly at the top of the cooler, so you don’t have to worry about items falling into the cooler and getting wet.”
“I love the Roadie, and this cup caddy allows it to double as a table, making it one of my all-time favorite Yeti cooler accessories,” Mary says. “This two-cup caddy easily snaps onto the side of the Roadie and is ready to go. It holds small and large drinks, plus your phone, keys, wallet—and maybe a lip gloss.”
It’s large enough to fit two of Yeti’s cups like standard-sized cup holders and a middle cavity keeps small items from getting lost. The best part? No hardware is required. Bonus: Check out how the new Oyster Tempo Cooler performs against the cult-classic Yeti Roadie Cooler.
Set down that smart bottle—the Rambler bottle sling lets you climb, hike and read while staying hydrated. Each bottle sling snugly fits Rambler tumblers in 26-ounce or 36-ounce sizes, depending on the specified dimensions. Carry it or attach it to your cooler for a fuss-free way to free up your hands.
“The Rambler sling is the perfect solution to freeing up your hands while walking outdoors with your water bottle. The strap is super long so you can wear it in various ways. I prefer wearing it crossbody while hiking,” Mary says.
Yeti cooler accessories can be purchased directly on the Yeti site. While a few accessories work across all the brand’s coolers, several are only meant to be used with a specific model.
Whether you own the trailblazing Tundra, the portable Roadie or the miniature Hopper in one of Yeti’s enormous range of colors, you’re bound to find something to elevate your camping trips.
